Vald Mwakima:Mission for Wundanyi 2017-2022
Addressing wananchi in Wumingu-Kishushe ward over the weekend, Jubilee Aspirant Eng. Vald Mwakima said his mission is development of Wundanyi constituency to the next and higher level by empowering men , women and youth by ensuring that all the three have money in their pockets. The operational plan of rebuilding Wundanyi constituency is to Revive Existing Projects, Repairing them, Rebuilding them and Restoring them to former glory.
Eng. Mwakima said he had drawn his inspiration from the Biblical book of Nehemiah .
Consquently the mission for Wundanyi is guided by four pillars namely: Revive, Repair, Rebuild and Restore.
Vald Mwakima’s rallying call for Wundanyi constituency for 2017-2022 is Tuelewane,Tushikane Mikono, Tufanye Kazi: Tunaenda Mbele ,Haturudi Nyuma . This literally means that the people of Wundanyi must understand one another, hold each others hand, work together, move forward together because there is no turning back.
Vald Mwakima:Vision for Wundanyi 2017-2022
In a political campaign rally in Mbale-Wundanyi ward, Eng. Vald Mwakima on Tuesday this week said his vision for Wundanyi is to see the people of Wundanyi living as One Big Joyful Family. He noted that currently the people of Wundanyi are living as one Big Sad Family because of the very depressing situation they are in. His mission in the next 5 years is to make the people of Wundanyi one Big Joyful Family enjoying high standard of living. He would like to see people enjoying good health, quality education, productive agriculture, lucrative business, peace,hope, love, unity, and increased household incomes. This will lead to happiness and high quality life.
Vald Mwakima: Agenda for Wundanyi 2017-2022
While addressing residents of Mwanda-Mghange ward on Thursday this week, Eng. Vald Mwakima outlined his five point agenda for development of Wundanyi which he baptized as the BIG 5.
The first agenda is implementation of priority projects which will have greatest impact in the lives of the people. The priority game changer projects are Roads, Electricity and Water.
The second agenda is Employment. To increase the number of people being employed, he will create a data base for all the job seeker and subsequent job seeker and employer connection, coaching and mentoring of job seekers.
The Third agenda is Business development/ Wealth creation. Eng Mwakima will assist the residents to register business
names , companies and cooperative societies. This will enable residents get contracts from CDF , National and county governments. Residents will be supported to do gemstones and industrial mining.
Supporting relevant programmes on full devolution to grassroots,religious organizations, national and county government as well as parastatals and NGOs.
Vald Mwakima: Qualities for Great Leader for Wundanyi 2017-2022
The people of Wundanyi deserve the Best Leader possible. Even though they are hard working, they have not moved far because they have not had leaders who can hold their hands.
Addressing wananchi in Werugha ward, Eng. Mwakima outlined the twelve qualities of a Great leader which residents should look for when electing their leaders:
1.Have Great Faith in God. With God all things are possible.
2.Great love for People and the Land of Wundanyi.
3.A Great Manager to be able to manage the resources
4. Have knowledge and understanding of the people , customs and environment.
5.Have Great Vision and Goal Orientation : See clearly where he wants to take the people
6.Be highly focused and decisive ; focus on the goals and make decisions
7.Be strong, courageous, and a risk taker
8.Be honest transparent and accountable
9.Should have passion, inspiration and motivation : support and encourage people
10.Should be an optimist and have positive attitude towards various issues
11. Be innovative and creative
12.Should have great commitment and persistence.
